What happens next

Once we receive a valid withdrawal notice within 14 days of purchase:

We will reimburse the full purchase price to the same payment method used at checkout, within 14 days from receipt of your notice.
Your license key will be revoked on the merchant side. There is no recurring background check today, so the app may keep running until you re-redeem or deactivate from Settings → License (which forces a fresh check against Dodo).
Your local data (characters, memories, conversations) is not affected, it stays on your Mac. You can keep it, export it, or delete it from Settings → Advanced → Reset all data.

Loss of withdrawal right (digital content)

Note: under EU law, the right of withdrawal for digital content ceases once delivery starts AND the consumer has (i) given prior express consent to immediate execution and (ii) acknowledged loss of the right. Dodo's checkout collects both consents. However, we offer a voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee regardless of this, see Terms §4.
