On itch you now pay once and download her, the same way you buy any game there. You click, you pay, the files are yours. It works like a normal itch purchase, nothing extra to set up.
This is the same Local Waifu as everywhere else. Same private companion for Mac and Windows, same long-term memory, same offline local model option. Nothing is cut down for itch.
The honest part has not changed
She still lives on your computer, not on somebody else’s server. No account needed for local use, no in-app analytics, no monthly fee. With a local model your conversations stay on your own machine. If you connect a cloud provider, requests go straight to that provider, not through me. What running locally actually means is the same on itch as anywhere.
